Orren are the most laid-back of all primes; they are also the most frenetic. Most days, this makes them Devastatingly Cute. Not today, though.

I'd have expected them to be more laid back, but then the trappings of civilisation seem to affect even the most laid back of minds.

Obviously never had an emotional family member in your own family. I've been lucky and avoided the worst of it, but I completely and totally know what is going on here. Although rarely has it been in a position to move from Family Fued to State Affairs. :D

So let's see. They chastise him in his moment of glory, they formally cast him out not on the heels of any remark to do with Yerenthax but of him saving children even though they're from Eigrach Mene, and then they demand access to him so they can do even more nasty things?

Jyondre's family(ex-family?) aren't making themselves look particularly bright, to say nothing of their utter lack of the dignity he showed.

It's easy from the outside to argue he's well rid of them, but I'm sure that wasn't easy on him, all the same. I hope he weathers this all right.

I don't think he was trying to cause any more of an inter-city incident than they already had on their hands.

And the key word is 'allowed'. He could doubtless have raised a fuss. It would probably have been excessive from the moment he lifted a finger. Instead, he showed restraint...

So even if people talk about it, it might be in a GOOD light. :)

Rehit, hero of Eigrach and expert duelist, allowed an Orren mom to hit him with a picnic basket? Bet it'll take a while for him to live that down. :)
